Lead financial operations as Controller in a multi-location retail environment. This role demands expertise in financial reporting, compliance, and team leadership.
You will contribute to strategic decisions as a member of the senior leadership team, oversee accurate financial reporting, and manage the annual budgeting process. Additionally, you'll coordinate with external advisors for tax compliance and streamline internal controls.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise month-end financial statement processes
• Ensure compliance with GST and payroll functions
• Prepare and analyze financial statements monthly
• Support initiatives for process improvement using technology
• Manage physical inventory accuracy and controls
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree from a recognized institution
• Minimum 8 years of accounting experience
• 5+ years in a management capacity
• Previous experience in apparel or specialty retail
• Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
