CNOOC Accounting Co-op Student Position

Join CNOOC International as an Accounting Co-op Student and gain real-world experience in financial reporting and budgeting. This 12-month internship begins August 2026 and is ideal for ambitious business students.

The selected co-op student will work within the Canadian JV Accounting team, reporting to the Team Lead. Experience hands-on responsibilities like preparing monthly accruals and assisting in financial reviews. You will develop valuable technical skills, refine your analytical abilities, and gain insight into operational finance in the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and book monthly accruals for non-operated assets

• Assist with monthly financial review reports for management

• Help with budget controls and forecasts

• Conduct account and bank reconciliations

• Streamline accounting processes and prepare corporate schedules

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a formal co-op program

• Strong academic background in Accounting or Finance

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

• Eligible to work in Canada
