Collections Administrator

Our client is a worldwide leader in network technology innovations, and they are looking for a skilled Collections Administrator to assist their dynamic team. Responsibilities

Manage the collection process through calls, emails and letters to customers as well as coordinating payment plans as required.

Create and manage statements of accounts, and aging AR reports.

Accurately complete the monthly bill cycles as well as ad‑hoc manual invoices as required.

Reconciliation of Accounts Receivable balances between financial systems.

Maintain meticulous records of all collection attempts and communications with the ERP/CRM system.

Processes and reconciles monthly debit card and credit card payments as well as necessary refunds.

Investigate, trouble shoot and respond to billing inquiries in accordance with prescribed scripts, company standards and processes.

Perform new customer credit checks and coordinate payment method with appropriate manager.

Create and manage manual ad‑hoc and monthly billing account adjustments as required.

Provide regular updates to management and cross functional teams.

Provides support for annual and periodic audits.

Other ad hoc duties as required.

Requirements

Post secondary degree or diploma in accounting or administration.

2-5 years in Accounts Receivable analysis and Collections experience is required, along with understanding of the billing cycle.

Experience with Net Suite would be considered an asset.

Third party collections experience would be highly regarded.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team.

Advanced computer proficiency, specifically with MS Excel and financial software.

Demonstrated customer service skills, with a positive ‘can‑do’ attitude.

Able to multi‑task and work well under tight deadlines.
