Treasury Accountant

Position: Full-Time Treasury Accountant Role
Join Saturn Oil & Gas as a Treasury Accountant based in Calgary, Alberta, driving key cash management functions and financial reporting processes. This is a full-time opportunity to enhance treasury operations.

In this role, you will report to the Supervisor, Treasury and assist with daily liquidity management and financial report preparation. Your analytical and quantitative skills will be pivotal in assessing risks and ensuring effective internal controls. You'll also engage in vendor maintenance and collaborate on treasury projects aimed at process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing daily cash flows and forecasts

• Prepare comprehensive financial reports for treasury activities

• Execute fund transfers and bank payment processing

• Foster relationships with banks and other financial institutions

• Support various treasury-related projects and internal controls

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a similar field

• 2 to 5 years of experience in a related role

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel

• Valuable experience in the Oil and Gas industry
