Fuel Inventory Analyst at Sunoco

Take charge of inventory accuracy with Sunoco as a Fuel Inventory Analyst, ensuring that physical inventory aligns with recorded figures. This role involves daily balancing, reconciliations, and analysis to drive operational efficiency.

As a Fuel Inventory Analyst, you will oversee inventory accounting and reconciliation across Sunoco's retail, cardlock, and commercial locations. This position requires strong analytical skills to manage imbalances and investigate their root causes. Collaboration with cross-functional finance teams will enhance process improvements and support audit responses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage inventory accounting and perform daily reconciliations

• Conduct Weighted Average Cost (WAC) analysis and adjustments

• Investigate and resolve daily inventory imbalances

• Respond to client inquiries under established SLAs

• Complete month-end reconciliation and shrinkage reporting

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field

• Minimum 3 years experience in accounting

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Effective communication and presentation abilities

• Proficient in JDE, PowerBI, and advanced Excel
