Our energy & resources client is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst (10+ years) to manage asset accounting and month-end close processes using SAP within the oil and gas sector

Contract, Calgary, 5 days a week on site.

Must Haves

CPA designation with proven background in financial analysis and asset accounting

Advanced SAP experience supporting month-end close and budget cycle processes

Extensive exposure to the oil and gas industry

Post-secondary education in Finance or Accounting

Nice to Have

Experience collaborating with cross-functional finance teams

Prior involvement in capital project accounting

Responsibilities

Oversee month-end close and asset accounting within SAP

Coordinate budget preparation and forecasting cycles

Analyze financial statements and variances for accuracy and compliance

Support reporting activities across multiple oil and gas business units

Ensure timely and accurate delivery of accounting schedules and reconciliations
