Accounts Payable Analyst at Sunoco

This vital role reports to the Manager of Payments and is part of the Purchase to Pay team. You will ensure timely processing of accounts payable payments, maintain Service Level Agreements, and identify improvement opportunities. The ideal candidate is a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-growing company and is eager to learn and develop.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute daily trade run processes for payments

• Ensure accuracy of government and municipality payments

• Resolve EFT, ACH, and wire rejection issues promptly

• Address stale dated cheque and duplicate payment issues

• Provide ad hoc support for audits and reconciliations

Requirements:

• 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance

• Experience with banking portals and relationships

• Familiarity with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle

• Strong skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
