This full-time role in Calgary focuses on overseeing daily and annual accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial statements and reporting. You'll lead the Finance team, engaging in essential training and supporting program managers in budget development. Your contribution will significantly impact the mission and objectives of Samaritan's Purse Canada through effective financial management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and guide the Finance team on finance administration
• Review and distribute monthly financial statements and reports
• Lead the preparation of the annual corporate budget
• Ensure timely monthly/quarterly accounts receivable billings
• Participate in the Risk Management process and reviews
Requirements:
• Commitment to Christian values and Statement of Faith
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Minimum 5 years accounting experience in a charitable organization
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial systems
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
