Reporting to the Manager of Investment Analysis, you will play a key role in evaluating growth opportunities, mergers, and acquisitions within Trans Alta's diverse operations. This position requires a blend of research, financial analysis, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to drive corporate strategies. Your expertise will be vital in shaping investment decisions and supporting business development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform financial analysis for business development projects
• Collaborate on the evaluation of investment decisions and risks
• Create financial models and conduct business trend analysis
• Work with cross-functional teams for asset evaluations
• Support M&A and project development through analytical insights
Requirements:
• Minimum 3-5 years in analysis or strategy roles
• Degree in relevant fields like finance or business
