Director of Finance at Conventional Business

Take the lead in finance with our Conventional Finance Director position. Drive day-to-day accounting and strategic financial planning to support corporate and operational goals in Canada.

In this crucial leadership role, you will report to the Senior Vice President, Operations Controller. You will oversee a team managing the financial reporting and internal controls for Conventional business activities. Your expertise in upstream oil and gas combined with extensive financial acumen will enhance decision-making and align business performance with corporate strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead financial reporting and ensure audit readiness

• Collaborate with leaders to drive corrective actions

• Deliver performance insights and monthly reports

• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning

• Maintain capital investment tracking and compliance

Requirements:

• Minimum of 15 years relevant experience

• Strong financial acumen and economic modeling skills

• Extensive knowledge of upstream oil and gas
