Position Summary

The Vice President of Finance will establish and lead the finance function during a period of significant growth. This role combines strategic leadership with hands‑on execution and will be responsible for financial operations, reporting, fundraising support, capital planning, and team development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and lead the finance organization from the ground up.
  • Implement accounting systems, controls, reporting processes, and compliance procedures.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and financial planning.
  • Support fundraising activities and maintain relationships with banks, investors, and external partners.
  • Manage financial aspects of large‑scale capital projects and infrastructure investments.
  • Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop finance team members.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications

  • Experience in technology, digital infrastructure, data centers, energy infrastructure, telecommunications, cryptocurrency, or related sectors.
  • Robust understanding of capital‑intensive businesses and project financing.
  • Demonstrated ability to build processes and teams within a growing organization.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with fundraising, investor relations, and banking relationships is highly desirable.
Ideal Candidate

This role is best suited for a finance leader who is ambitious, hands‑on, and excited by the challenge of helping build a rapidly scaling organization. The successful candidate will be equally comfortable managing operational financial details and presenting to investors, banks, and executive leadership. Approximately 25%+ travel may be required within North America and internationally.
