Job Description

TD Wealth seeks an experienced financial planner to help mass‑affluent clients achieve their financial goals. You will build long‑term relationships, provide comprehensive financial planning, and drive business development.

  • Identify clients’ life and financial goals and provide comprehensive reviews.
  • Conduct reporting and relevant analysis, drawing conclusions and making recommendations.
  • Contribute to team and department goals while strengthening customer service and dedication.
  • Monitor service, productivity and assess efficiency; implement continuous improvements.
  • Stay current with best practices, procedures and emerging trends.
  • Mentor and support others; share expertise and guidance.
  • Maintain a culture of risk management and control in alignment with risk appetite.
  • Participate fully as a team member and support a positive, service‑oriented work environment.
Educational Requirements
  • University degree (preferred)
  • 3 – 5 years of experience in financial services managing client relationships and providing tailored investment solutions (preferred)
  • CIRO Registered Representative (RR) license within first 120 days in role
  • Achieve Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation within first 3 years in role
  • CFP eligibility requirements:
    University degree OR meet one of the following
    • Have been a QAFP professional in good standing for a minimum of 5 years at the time of applying
    • Up to 10 years of qualifying work experience

  • Strong communication skills, able to work collaboratively and independently, and build relationships.
