Reporting to the Vice President of Finance, the Director of Finance is responsible for overseeing the financial accounting responsibilities for the designated business divisions within the organization. This role is also responsible for ensuring accurate financial statements, maintaining strong internal controls, and supporting strategic financial planning and analysis. The Director of Finance will work closely with senior management and the financial team to ensure financial integrity and contribute to the company’s growth and success.

- Manage the preparation of accurate financial statements (monthly, quarterly, and annually) in accordance with accounting principles
- Oversee all accounting functions, including the month-end close process and account analysis, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions.
- Develop and enforce strong internal controls and accounting policies to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with the finance team to prepare and monitor budgets; provide variance analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Work with the finance team to coordinate external audits and address any findings or recommendations, ensuring compliance with regulatory and reporting requirements.
- Perform financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Assess and implement improvements to accounting systems and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Lead and develop a high-performing accounting team by providing mentorship and training.

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred
- Minimum of 7 years’ of experience in financial management, with a proven track record in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance
- Proficiency in financial software and systems (e.g., ERP systems, Excel)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Able to demonstrate logical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Able to exercise sound judgment, is self-motivated, with the ability to prioritize key requirements in a fast-paced and demanding environment
- Must be able to read, write, and speak/understand English fluently
Physical Requirements
This role is conducted in an office environment requiring some or all of the following:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk or workstation
- Repetitive hand and arm movements
- Occasional lifting up to 20lbs may be required
- Frequent reaching, grasping, pushing, pulling, bending, or twisting motions
- Walking short distances and standing for meetings or other office activities
