BMO Financial Group seeks an AVP, Commercial Banking Portfolio Manager responsible for credit analysis and lending processes. You will manage an assigned portfolio, negotiate loan terms, and monitor credit conditions to minimize risks. Focus on enhancing client relationships while leading business development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Negotiate loan structures aligning client needs with risk policies
• Assess repayment capacity using financial models for recommendations
• Monitor portfolio performance and undertake corrective actions
• Develop business plans to grow client relationships and opportunities
• Provide specialized consulting and analytical support
Requirements:
• Preferred 5–7 years in credit or lending in banking
• Bachelor’s degree;
Finance or Business Administration preferred
• Deep knowledge and technical proficiency in credit analysis
• Proven ability to manage complex credit situations
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities
