Position: Finance Executive at Ambrose University
Shape financial strategies with Ambrose University as the Vice President of Finance in Calgary. Lead budgeting, accounting, and financial stewardship in a mission-driven institution.

This executive role entails overseeing financial operations including business planning and risk management at Ambrose University. Reporting directly to the Executive Vice President of Operations, the Vice President of Finance collaborates with senior leadership and the Board to ensure fiscal health. Key focus areas include compliance, internal controls, and fostering a culture of high performance and team development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee financial stewardship and business planning efforts

• Analyze and prepare detailed financial reports for leadership

• Manage budgeting processes and audit coordination

• Develop key performance indicators to enhance financial strategies

• Build collaborative relationships with internal and external partners

Requirements:

• Chartered Professional Accountant certification required

• Bachelor's or equivalent in Accounting or Finance

• 7-10 years of progressive accounting experience

• 3+ years of leadership overseeing an accounting function

• Deep knowledge of financial principles and regulations
