Position: BDC Senior Manager, Underwriting Excellence

In this strategic role, you will oversee the underwriting of loan proposals, ensuring compliance with credit policies and providing detailed analysis of terms and risk levels. Key Responsibilities:

• Underwrite and assess medium to high-complexity loan proposals

• Develop effective loan terms and negotiate with stakeholders

• Foster teamwork and consistency in applications

• Provide mentorship to new and existing employees

• Keep current on credit policies and regulations impacting BDC

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce or related field

• 3-5 years of underwriting or related experience

• Expertise in loan structuring and credit policies

• Strong analytical and communication skills

• Fluency in both French and English preferred
