This role is part of the BMO North American Collections Analytics Team , focused on driving data-driven decisioning to optimize collection strategies and operational performance. The successful candidate will leverage advanced analytics to monitor collection trends, identify risks and opportunities in third-party assignments, and influence performance outcomes through incentive design and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and visualize trends across the end-to-end collections process to identify performance gaps, emerging risks, and opportunities
  • Evaluate third-party agency performance and uncover optimization opportunities in assignment strategies
  • Support the design and refinement of employee incentive programs to drive desired performance outcomes
  • Develop dashboards and reporting (e.g., Power BI) to provide actionable insights to stakeholders
  • Partner with operations, strategy, and risk teams to translate analytical findings into business actions
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve collections efficiency, effectiveness, and overall portfolio performance
  • Documents data flow, systems and processes to improve the design, implementation and management of business/group processes.
  • Develops tools and delivers training programs for use of reporting tools and self-serve analytics by non-analytical end users; may include delivery of training to audiences.
  • Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.
  • Take measured risks while protecting the bank by applying our Risk Management Framework in the execution of your role, in line with our Risk Culture and within our approved Risk Appetite, making sound and risk informed decisions that align to business strategy, protect assets, and adhere to applicable policy documents (Frameworks, Policies, Standards, Procedures and Supporting documents), laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in analytics, with a post-secondary degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficiency in statistical and analytical tools such as SAS, SQL, and Python
  • Experience developing Power BI dashboards strongly preferred
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to translate complex analytical insights into clear, actionable recommendations for a broad audience

Salary :

$56,000.00 - $

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.

BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
