This role is pivotal for an experienced cost controller overseeing financial planning processes and initiatives. You will partner with business teams to enhance forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning, ensuring alignment with West Jet’s goals. Leadership, strategic analysis, and mentoring FP&A analysts will be key to your success in fostering team growth and enhancing financial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with teams for budgeting and forecasting support

• Prepare monthly business review packages and KPIs

• Conduct comprehensive financial analyses for insights

• Develop and maintain financial models for planning

• Deliver executive presentations on financial information

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting

• 7+ years in financial planning and analysis

• Experience in airline or transportation sector

• Proficiency in financial systems and modeling

• Excellent communication and leadership skills
