BDO Canada is seeking a Manager to enhance our Customs and International Trade Services team. In this position, you will provide advisory services for tariff exposure, customs audits, and regulatory disputes. Ideal candidates are technically strong customs professionals eager to navigate complex trade matters while developing defense strategies for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise clients on tariff and customs compliance issues

• Analyze risks related to classification and valuation

• Lead clients through CBSA verifications and dispute resolutions

• Design and implement customs compliance frameworks

• Collaborate with tax and transfer pricing teams nationally

Requirements:

• University degree in Customs or International Trade

• Minimum 3-5 years in customs advisory or trade compliance

• Strong knowledge of tariff classification and FTA rules

• Proven ability to draft technical memoranda

• Excellent communication skills with analytical capabilities
