Senior Analyst - Budgets & Forecast

Cenovus Energy is seeking a Senior Analyst for Budgets & Forecast, focusing on financial planning and reporting in Calgary. Deliver insights that drive decision-making and enhance corporate performance.

In this role, you will work closely with the Senior Manager of Budgets & Forecast r primary tasks will include consolidating forecasts, conducting variance analyses, and preparing updates for the executive team. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will enhance our financial planning processes and maintain reporting models effectively. Attention to detail and strong analytical abilities are crucial for success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Consolidate and analyze monthly forecasts for executive reports

• Conduct detailed financial variance analysis

• Prepare insights for decision-making support

• Update corporate performance scorecard monthly

• Drive process improvements in financial reporting

Requirements:

• University degree in Finance or Accounting

• 8+ years of relevant business analysis experience

• CPA or CFA designation

• Strong analytical and communication skills

• Experience with SAP/BPC or Power BI
