Your role will focus on document accuracy and broker relations.
As part of the Third Party Residential Underwriting team, you will assist in credit decisions by meticulously reviewing documentation. Establishing and maintaining relationships with mortgage brokers and external stakeholders is key for enhancing loyalty. You’ll also be responsible for ensuring compliance with guidelines through comprehensive documentation checks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build strong relationships with mortgage brokers and insurers
• Review required documentation for accuracy and compliance
• Log clear notes in the mortgage underwriting system
• Respond to inquiries efficiently within set timelines
• Escalate any relevant issues to the Underwriter
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience
• Experience in Financial Services is preferred
• Proficiency with PC software within a Windows environment
• Strong analytical and time-management skills
• Proven ability to thrive under high-volume conditions
