As a Senior Tax Analyst at Whitecap Resources, you will play a crucial role in the tax team, focusing on corporate tax reporting and compliance for Canada, the U.S., and internationally. This position involves preparing tax provisions, coordinating filings, and analyzing tax laws to benefit business operations. You will also work closely with various departments, ensuring all tax matters are handled efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and oversee quarterly tax provisions

• Coordinate tax compliance filings with external advisors

• Investigate variances with tax authorities

• Provide technical guidance on tax legislation

• Contribute to process improvements and audits

Requirements:

• CPA designation required

• 10+ years of tax experience preferred

• Strong knowledge of Canadian and U.S. tax

• Experience with transfer pricing considered an asset

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and analytical skills
