Position: Cost Controller Role at WestJet

This pivotal role requires in-person collaboration as you influence decision-making through comprehensive financial analyses and reporting. You will coach FP&A analysts and leverage financial models to support operational excellence. Your expertise will ensure that strategic goals are met and that financial opportunities are identified and acted upon promptly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support forecasting and budgeting for business partners

• Coordinate monthly reporting of financial performance

• Build financial models for investment and long-term decisions

• Analyze trends and provide actionable insights

• Present complex financial information to executives

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field

• 7+ years of FP&A experience, ideally in aviation

• Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis

• Familiarity with business information systems like Oracle

• Strong leadership and communication capabilities
