Your Team

Join Flair’s Finance team, where effective cash management and financial controls support the day‑to‑day needs of the business. Reporting to the Director, Tax & Treasury, the Treasury Manager is responsible for overseeing the Company’s treasury function, including cash management, liquidity planning, banking activities, cash forecasting, and financial controls. This role ensures sufficient liquidity is maintained to support operational requirements while strengthening treasury processes and controls.

The Treasury Manager manages day‑to‑day treasury activities, monitors cash flow and funding requirements, and supports financial planning and risk management. Working closely with Finance, Accounting, and other internal stakeholders, the role provides financial analysis, resolves complex treasury matters, and identifies opportunities to improve processes, controls, and overall financial efficiency.

This is an on‑site position based at our Edmonton, AB (YEG) or Calgary, AB (YYC) office.

A Day In The Life
  • Manage day‑to‑day treasury and cash management activities, ensuring sufficient liquidity is available to support operational and financial obligations.
  • Develop and maintain daily and weekly cash flow forecasts, monitor cash positions, and identify upcoming funding requirements and liquidity risks.
  • Maintain relationships with banking partners and serve as a primary point of contact for day‑to‑day banking and treasury matters.
  • Administer the Company’s bank accounts, including account openings and closures, authorized signers, user access, banking permissions, and related documentation.
  • Ensure vendor banking information is accurately maintained within banking platforms and reconciled with applicable accounting systems.
  • Provide leadership and oversight to the Cash Management team, establishing priorities, reviewing work, and ensuring treasury activities are completed accurately and within required timelines.
  • Review and provide first‑level approval of payments processed through banking platforms in accordance with established approval authorities and financial controls.
  • Manage Letters of Credit, including applications, amendments, submissions, renewals, tracking, and required supporting documentation.
  • Oversee payment planning and treasury coordination for high‑value and operationally critical vendors, including fuel suppliers, ground handlers, airport‑related payments, regulatory obligations, and other critical vendors.
  • Work closely with the Cash Management team on applicable cash‑management, funding, and treasury activities.
  • Monitor upcoming payment obligations and proactively identify and elevate potential cash flow, banking, or payment risks.
  • Maintain appropriate treasury controls, documentation, and records to support financial reporting, audit requirements, and internal control compliance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve cash management processes, banking controls, forecasting, payment workflows, and treasury efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Accounting, Accounts Payable, Finance, Tax, and other internal stakeholders to support cash planning, reconciliations, and financial requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Bring To

The Role
  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree would be advantageous.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in treasury, cash management, corporate finance, or a related financial function.
    • Demonstrated experience managing daily cash positions, liquidity requirements, and short‑and‑medium‑term cash flow forecasting.
