ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP S/4

HANA Finance Lead Analyst to drive financial process optimization and system enhancement initiatives for our freshly upgraded S/4

HANA on RISE environment. This role requires proven expertise in S/4

HANA Finance modules, post-upgrade optimization experience, and the ability to coordinate complex projects with business stakeholders and outsourced vendor teams while maximizing the value of our newly upgraded system.

This position is based out of our Downtown Calgary Head Office, with the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

Strategic Leadership:

• Lead post-upgrade optimization and continuous improvement for S/4
  
  HANA Finance modules (FI/CO, PS, TRM, Cash, Open Text VIM) in our freshly upgraded environment
• Coordinate complex finance projects with outsourced development teams and internal stakeholders for customizations and integrations
• Develop comprehensive 3-year finance technology roadmap leveraging new S/4
  
  HANA upgrade capabilities

Operational Excellence:

• Lead business process reengineering initiatives leveraging S/4
  
  HANA finance capabilities
• Implement month-end close optimization and automation opportunities
• Design and deploy real-time financial reporting and analytics solutions
• Provide Level 3 support and escalation resolution for complex finance issues

Technical Leadership:

• Serve as subject matter expert for S/4
  
  HANA Finance module configurations and customizations
• Oversee integration between S/4
  
  HANA and external financial systems (planning, consolidation, etc.)
• Lead testing and validation for system updates and finance-related enhancements
• Design and implement automated controls and audit trails for financial processes

ABOUT YOU

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or related field
• 8+ years total SAP Finance experience with minimum 3+ years hands-on S/4
  
  HANA FICO
• CRITICAL:
  Proven experience with S/4
  
  HANA post-upgrade optimization and finance transformation in newly upgraded environments

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP S/4
  
  HANA Finance certification
• CPA, or equivalent finance certification
• Experience with SAP BPC or SAP Analytics Cloud for planning and consolidation
• Knowledge of RPA tools for finance process automation
