AltaGas Manager, Capital Planning Analysis

Contribute to Alta Gas’s strategic growth as a Manager in Capital Planning & Analysis located in Calgary, AB. Lead investment evaluations and enhance capital governance processes across the company.

In this strategic role, you'll manage a team that assesses capital investments to drive informed decision-making. You will play a significant part in facilitating approval processes and providing critical analytical support. Your strong commercial acumen will guide collaboration with Business Development and other departments to align investments with corporate strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop a high-performing team for project evaluations

• Oversee the capital approval governance framework

• Analyze effectiveness of investment strategies

• Ensure models represent true financial outcomes

• Maintain standards in financial analysis best practices

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in corporate finance

• Strong background in evaluating large capital projects

• Excellent financial analysis and modeling skills

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or CFA preferred

• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
