A heavily analytical role owning pricing models, portfolio lifecycle management, and competitive trend monitoring, built to catch pricing and portfolio opportunities to drive sustainable, profitable growth.

Key responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain pricing models across brands, formats, and provinces.
  • Track SKU performance against lifecycle stage, including launch, growth, maturity, and decline, and recommend rationalization or reinvestment.
  • Analyze category segments and portfolio gaps to identify white space for new formats or price points, feeding the innovation pipeline.
  • Run recurring, monthly at minimum, competitive price and format trend tracking to surface shifts early.
  • Report on innovation pilot performance against target.
  • Partner with the Sales Operations Analyst and Director, Commercial Planning to keep pricing actions aligned with volume forecasts and targets.
  • Spots pricing and portfolio trends early rather than reactively.
  • Builds pricing models that hold up under scrutiny.
  • Balances analytical rigor with commercial pragmatism.
  • Communicates pricing recommendations clearly to non-financial audiences.
  • Takes ownership of portfolio lifecycle tracking and reporting accuracy.
Qualifications:
  • 2 to 4 years in pricing, revenue management, or commercial and financial analytics.
  • Strong Excel and financial modeling skills.
  • Experience with pricing elasticity or promotional analytics is an asset.
