Be a key player at Trans Alta as a Financial Systems Support Advisor in Downtown Calgary. This hybrid role will have you supporting financial processes with a focus on reorganization planning.
As a senior financial support advisor, you will draw on your 5+ years of relevant experience in systems support to develop solutions for mergers, acquisitions, and transitions. Engage with various departments to enhance user training and SAP data management. You will maintain compliance while preparing financial statements, making this a dynamic and strategic position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide expertise on complex financial system matters
• Build strong departmental relationships for collaborative solutions
• Develop detailed plans for organizational changes
• Support financial statement preparation during transitions
• Maintain important SAP master data and hierarchies
Requirements:
• An accounting designation with 5+ years of experience
• Solid knowledge of IFRS and SOX regulations
• Experience with a minimum of 3 SAP modules like PS
• Proficient in tools like Excel and Power Query
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
