Banquet and Event Servers – Part-time – Various locations in Calgary
Servers are required to work various functions, at different locations throughout Calgary. Locations may be indoor and/or outdoors depending on assigned banquet or event.
Requirements / Must Haves:
Minimum 4 years of serving experiencePro Serve license is necessaryExcellent command of the English language (speak, read, write)Willing to work both indoors and outdoorsFlexible to work various functions and banquetsPossess strong interpersonal and communication skillsAble to stand for long periods of timeAble to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentReliable transportationMust be over 18 years oldAble to pass a credit and criminal background checkAble to lift up to 40lbs on a regular basisProfessional and well presentedResponsibilities:
Provide professional and friendly service and information to all guestsEnsure all safety and sanitation policies are met when handling food and beveragesSet up and clear tables, including portable bars, and transporting inventory to required locationsServe all food and prepared beverages during assigned banquet functions or eventsPerform other duties as required i.e. assist with any required setups, etc.Shifts:Include but not limited to evenings, weekends and holidays Hourly Rate: $16.00
Hours:Vary – depending on duration of function
