PositionSummary
The Steward/Dishwasher provides an entry‑level support for the Food and Beverage division. Although the role is entry‑level it is a vital position to ensuring all assets of the Food and Beverage department are maintained and cleaned.
These positions are seasonal positions that will be starting in March and ending in late August.
These positions will require the successful candidates to work flexible hours throughout the week and on weekends.
We are hiring for multiple positions under this requisition.
ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
- Clean and Sanitize all equipment, glassware, china, cutlery, pots and pans
- Clean floors in kitchen, coffee room and ice room
- Remove waste, composting and recycling
- Coordinate service equipment with other user groups
- Put away equipment at the end of events
- Set the event Back of house tables and all other event requirements
- Deliver the event assets to required venue
- Replenish consumable asset as required during an event.
- Drive van and cube with assets
- Monitor the daily operation of kitchen washing equipment, proper water temperatures, mechanical operation and cleaning agent levels.
- Manage and Maintain the Food and beverage equipment. Daily inspection to ensure safe operation. Report any equipment deficiencies to supervisor.
- Ensure the proper storage of assets.
- Perform Physical inventory counts of consumable and non‑consumable products.
- Maintain the assets through repairs, replacement and key measures to prevent theft.
- Do laundry as required
- Maintain the asset storage areas in a clean and orderly fashion
- Working safely around all equipment
Involves repetitive arm, hand and finger movement.
Occasional lifting and carrying up to 50 lb., pushing, crouching, bending, kneeling, stair and reaching.
