Room Attendant

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and common areas in our hotel. This role is essential in ensuring that our guests have a comfortable and pleasant stay, reflecting our commitment to high standards of service in the hospitality industry.

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas, ensuring all surfaces are spotless.
• Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required.
• Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning products.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Ensure that all cleaning equipment is used safely and maintained properly.
• Follow established procedures for cleaning rooms according to hotel standards.
• Assist with the cleaning of common areas, including lobbies, hallways, and stairwells.
• Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to guest requests or inquiries.

• Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial services is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies is a plus.
• Good communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• Must be able to follow instructions and adhere to safety guidelines.
