Job DescriptionThe Public Area Attendant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and ensuring the overall presentation of the public areas of our luxury hotel. This role is vital to the overall guest experience, ensuring that guests feel comfortable and welcome. Pay rate: $20.06.
Start date:
July 2026.
- Clean, sanitize, and maintain the public areas of the hotel, including lobbies, corridors, restrooms, elevators, and stairways.
- Ensure all public spaces are free of garbage, debris, and hazards, and maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
- Replenish and maintain supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels in restrooms and public areas.
- Report maintenance issues or damages in public areas to the appropriate departments (maintenance, housekeeping).
- High school diploma (asset).
- Previous housekeeping experience (asset).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong ability to prioritize and manage workload distribution throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift and move items, stand for long periods, and perform physical tasks as required.
