Pay Rate: $20.05/hr
Rental Shop (Winter)- Greet guests and assist them in selecting and fitting appropriate rental equipment (skis, snowboards, snowshoes, ice skates)
- Provide information on equipment features, proper usage, and safety tips.
- Assist with returns, check‑ins, and sanitization of equipment after use.
- Perform routine checks and maintenance of equipment to ensure proper function.
- Assist with inventory control, including receiving, storing, and tracking equipment.
- Ensure guests complete rental waivers and adhere to all rental policies.
- Offer recommendations on trail conditions, skill‑level suitable gear, and local activities.
- Organize activities and supervise up to 10 children ages 5 and up.
- Assisting Conference Services and Special events with functions as needed.
- Maintain a safe and fun environment for all children participating in activities.
- Welcome guests to the Health Club and ensure they have a safe and enjoyable experience.
- Ensure the Health Club area is clean and well‑maintained with adequate supplies in pool area and changing rooms.
- Instruct guests in use of equipment and ensure safety regulations are adhered to in fitness/pool areas.
- Facilitate activities for all guests, social activities, holiday events, walks, campfires, and more.
- Assisting Conference Services and Special events with functions as needed.
- Maintain a safe and fun environment for all guests participating in activities.
- Assist guests as they rent a canoe – taking payment, providing rules and basic canoeing instructions, helping guests into and out of the canoe.
- Assist in coordinating and facilitating Sunrise Canoe Experiences.
- Able to maintain a safe environment on the Canoe Dock and Lake for all guests.
- Ensuring canoes are in clean working order.
- To adhere to all Environmental/Health and Safety policies and procedures as required.
- Adhere to all environmental policies and programs as required.
- Previous experience in recreation, health club & pools, child care or a similar environment will be an asset.
- Must possess outstanding guest service skills, including professional verbal communication skills.
- Interest in health and physical activity, and enjoy working with children & families.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid required.
- Frequent standing and walking throughout shift.
- Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting.
- Capable of lifting and moving canoes and towel bins (90 pounds+).
