Sales Manager for Food & Beverage Events

In this full-time role, you will be pivotal in driving sales for our Hawthorn Dining Room & Bar. Your efforts will focus on building lasting relationships with guests and clients while ensuring memorable interactions. As you elevate the Fairmont experience, you'll work closely with colleagues to design and deliver unique culinary events that reflect the richness of Calgary's hospitality culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and pursue new event business opportunities

• Execute strategic sales campaigns with leadership

• Gather and verify event information with clients

• Collaborate with culinary teams to create bespoke menus

• Ensure compliance with safety laws for events

Requirements:

• Three years' experience in hotel sales and event planning

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and event planning tools

• Understanding of luxury market trends

• Superior customer service skills

• Hospitality degree/diploma is a plus
