Location: Banff
Lead Rocky Mountaineer guest operations with people leadership and safety expertise across assigned destinations. This temporary 2027 season role covers parental leave.
The Guest Experience Manager reports to the Senior Manager, Guest Experience. You will lead destination teams, coordinate partners, and deliver exceptional, safe, on-brand journeys. The role combines operational reporting, scheduling, SOP documentation, and stakeholder collaboration to support guest satisfaction, safety, and performance objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead daily station and Guest Centre operations
- Resolve guest issues as accountable onsite decision maker
- Coach teams and manage recruitment, training, scheduling, performance
- Coordinate train operations, transfers, partners, and suppliers
- Lead safety responses, audits, documentation, and corrective actions
- Five or more years leadership experience in operations
- Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality, or equivalent experience
- Valid Alberta or British Columbia Class 5 driver’s license
- Strong communication, coaching, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
- Availability for variable shifts, outdoor work, and railway operations
