Jardeg is actively recruiting for a Trades Recruiter supporting the Talent Acquisition Team. Reporting to the Recruitment Lead, the Trades Recruiter plays a key role in supporting high‑volume talent attraction and full‑cycle recruitment activities, ensuring timely and effective sourcing, screening, and hiring of qualified trades professionals while building strong partnerships with hiring managers and contributing to ongoing recruitment initiatives.
This is a remote, temporary 3-months contract role
Your Role in Building What Matters – From Office to Site
- Lead full‑cycle recruitment for high‑volume trade roles, including requisition creation, job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing support, reference checks, and issuing offer letters
- Develop and execute effective recruitment strategies by partnering with external agencies, post‑secondary institutions, industry associations, and community organizations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and project HR teams to understand staffing needs, ensure process compliance, and provide guidance on labour standards
- Participate in recruitment initiatives such as career fairs, road shows, targeted advertising, and market research to support workforce planning and talent attraction
- Maintain applicant tracking systems and recruitment databases while providing regular reporting, updates, and alignment with manpower forecasts to the Recruitment Lead/Manager
The Right Tools for the Job
- Education:
High School Diploma with 3+ years of high-volume trades recruitment experience OR Diploma/ Certificate with 2+ years of related experience. Post secondary education in Human Resources or Business preferred - Experience:
High-volume recruiting experience required. Experience recruiting trade/craft roles in Maintenance / Shutdown environments within Oil & Gas preferred - Software:
Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with Success Factors ATS or other applicant tracking systems is an asset - Certifications:
Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) and/or Registered Professional Recruiter (RPR) certifications preferred
