Human Resources Business Partner
We are seeking a Full-Time Human Resources Business Partner to support Central Operations and Corporate Staff. The HR team is predominantly located in Calgary, however we are open to candidates based out of Calgary, Regina, Saskatoon, Winnipeg, or the Greater Toronto Area. The role will require some travel between these locations. As an HR Business Partner (HRBP) at Primary, you are at the center of our Employee Ecosystem supporting our Leaders and Employees with all their HR needs.
You will serve as the primary point of contact for managers and frontline staff, balancing strategic partnership with hands-on tactical support. - Strategic Advisory
:
Support managers in addressing workforce planning and talent needs, providing practical guidance aligned with company programs and policies. - Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
:
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle—from intake meetings and strategic sourcing to conducting interviews and building enticing offer packages. You will be the foundation for our employee relationships by ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for every new hire. - Employee Relations
:
Monitor the "pulse" of the organization to drive engagement. Support life-cycle events, including employee recognition, benefits troubleshooting, and offboarding/terminations. - Data & System
:
Utilize Dayforce HRIS to provide analytical reporting that informs operational decision-making. - Compliance & Policy
:
Act as an expert on corporate policies and legislative frameworks (Federal/Provincial), ensuring fair and consistent employment practices across the board. - Coaching & Development
:
Empower leaders to enhance their leadership capabilities and effectively manage team performance in alignment with company practices.

Ability to cultivate deep, trust-based relationships with stakeholders, acting as a credible change agent who confidently advises on people practices. You are comfortable respectfully challenging the status quo to drive continuous improvement. - Business Acumen
: A deep understanding of business operations, allowing you to align HR programs with organizational goals and navigate ambiguity effectively. You translate manager needs into actionable people programs. - Technical Proficiency

Advanced knowledge of HRIS tools (Core, Recruiting, Onboarding, Compensation and Performance modules), Dayforce specificity will be an asset. - Resilience & Agility

Thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, managing tight deadlines and shifting priorities with ease.
- 7-10 years of progressive HR experience; HRBP and consulting experience are considered assets.
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
