Position Summary

The Recruitment Assistant is a member of the Employee Services team responsible for assisting the Talent Acquisition team through year-round & Stampede time full cycle recruitment initiatives and projects. This is a busy and fast paced position with multiple areas of focus. The Recruitment Assistant will gain experience in the HR field providing recruitment support.

This is a Seasonal term ending in August 2026.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

Participate in end to end recruitment process, including reviewing resumes, conducting phone interviews, scheduling in-person interviews, conducting reference checks, and inputting employee data into the HRIS system.

Provide assistance during large scale interview and selection events

Assist new employees with instruction and documentation surrounding new hire paperwork completion, system access and employment information

Collaborate with organizational departments to investigate and resolve recruitment queries from employees and management.

Perform various administrative tasks such as: create and maintain spreadsheets, schedules , creating and sending offer letters,

Support HR reception and administration team as needed

Provide assistance in other HR areas as required

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be proactive, optimistic and have worked in a dynamic environment where they have experience delivering on multiple priorities and will hold the following qualifications:

Co-op eligible student in Business, Human Resources, Administration or related fields

Experience working in full cycle recruitment is preferable

Strong Microsoft Office skills are essential

Excellent organizational skills , strong attention to detail and a comfortability working through multiple competing deadlines and projects

Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative, and fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

Strong written and oral communication skills

Previous experience working within an HRIS or ATS preferred
