The Position
The HR Coordinator, Talent Acquisition provides administrative and coordination support across recruitment, onboarding, and learning and development. The role is responsible for maintaining accurate records, supporting Talent Acquisition processes and documentation, and assisting with regional compliance and reporting requirements. The HR Coordinator, Talent Acquisition works closely with the TA team and internal stakeholders to ensure TA operations are delivered efficiently and consistently.
Inthis role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Coordinate recruitment activities in collaboration with the Talent Acquisition Specialists.
- Complete candidate video screens, references and background checks.
- Create and maintain new hire files and ensure job folder documentation is complete.
- Assist in coordinating phone, video, and onsite interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Post job openings to various job boards and assist the recruiting team with ad-hoc administrative tasks or hiring events.
- Support onboarding activities for colleagues in preparation for Day 1.
- Provide administrative and coordination support to the TAS and Learning and Development team as required.
- Assist with functional reporting, and other TA initiatives as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality of all HR records and documentation.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of candidate and colleague data within HR systems.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in an HR or talent administrative or coordinator role.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Working toward or eligible for the Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation is an asset.
- Experience supporting recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle administration.
- Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Understanding of basic employment standards and TA and HR processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- High level of confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
- Proactive and solution‑oriented, with strong attention to detail and process efficiency.
- Proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is considered an asset to support regional communication and HR processes.
Office‑based working environment, work from our Calgary office three or more days per week.
