Join SSRG as a Payroll Manager, leading the payroll function for a high-volume, multi-provincial workforce within Canada. This position emphasizes payroll compliance and reporting.
In this role, you will manage end-to-end payroll operations, ensuring compliance with various regional labor laws and internal policies. You will be instrumental in streamlining processes, addressing complex payroll inquiries, and optimizing system performance, particularly with Dayforce. Strong leadership will help develop your payroll team while fostering collaboration with other departments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise payroll operations for frontline and support staff
• Ensure compliance with federal payroll regulations and company policies
• Administer payroll-related documents for audits and record-keeping
• Work with Operations to resolve payroll processing issues
• Oversee payroll data management and quality checks
Requirements:
• At least 2 years of high-volume payroll experience with Dayforce
• Experience managing full-cycle payroll for diverse employee groups
• Knowledge of CRA regulations and provincial labor standards
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll systems
• Strong communication skills and ability to handle confidential information
