Step into the role of Payroll Coordinator with Canadian Blood Services, providing essential HR support in a hybrid work model for the Talent Programs team.
This temporary full-time position demands a minimum of 3 years in HR and Payroll, particularly within union frameworks. You'll also maintain employee data in the HRIS and manage various payroll-related adjustments while ensuring compliance with collective agreements. Ideal candidates are skilled communicators and proactive problem solvers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Act as the primary contact for HR inquiries
• Maintain employee life-cycle data accurately in HRIS
• Handle pay-related changes and compliance with guidelines
• Administer pension and benefits programs as required
• Offer guidance on HR programs to management and employees
Requirements:
• Education in Human Resources or a related area
• Minimum 3 years experience in HR and Payroll roles
• Understanding of collective agreements affecting HR practices
• Previous experience in a unionized workplace preferred
• Proficient in MS Office applications and HRIS
