Senior HR Generalist

Agilus by Synergie is looking for a Senior HR Generalist II in Calgary's Oil and Gas Sector, offering $52.00 hourly on a one-year contract with a 5-day work week.

This HR Advisor role involves ensuring adherence to HR policies and employment laws while collaborating with management on employee/labor relations. You will be a vital resource for line managers, helping to manage and resolve employee issues effectively. Your extensive experience will help mentor other HR generalists, analyze trends, and implement strategic HR initiatives that reflect the company’s commitment to diversity and inclusion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret HR policies and ensure legal compliance

• Partner with management for employee relations support

• Mentor junior HR professionals and resolve issues

• Analyze workforce metrics for informed decision-making

• Lead improvements in HR processes and initiatives

Requirements:

• Preferred 8 to 10 years of HR experience

• Proficiency in staffing and HR practices

• Strong knowledge of MS Office

• Ability to maintain confidentiality

• Knowledge of employment law and regulations
