As a Payroll & Benefits Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in processing payroll with Dayforce and ensuring compliance with Alberta Employment Standards. Collaborate closely with HR to maintain smooth onboarding and offboarding processes, making a tangible impact on employee satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure precise bi-weekly payroll processing and compliance
• Prepare necessary documentation and assist with audits
• Advise on payroll legislation changes and best practices
• Provide guidance and mentoring to the Benefits Advisor
• Manage employee benefit inquiries and claims issues
Requirements:
• Payroll Compliance Professional (PCP) designation is required
• Over 5 years of experience in payroll management
• Familiarity with Dayforce is highly beneficial
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills needed
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and attention to detail
