Support employee benefits at Safeway as a Benefits Administrator for a 10-month contract. Leverage your HR skills to ensure accurate administration and compliance with collective agreements.
This temporary role focuses on administering benefit qualifications and maintaining records for unionized staff. You'll develop employee communications and support efficiency in Benefits Administration. Collaborating closely with the HR team, you will resolve benefit issues and ensure compliance with legal, company, and government standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer benefit qualification for Safeway employees
• Maintain accurate benefit records per agreements
• Develop employee communications and procedural documentation
• Provide analytical support and maintain benefit data integrity
• Liaise with payroll to meet compliance requirements
Requirements:
• 2 years of Benefits or HR experience
• Degree or certification in HR, CEBS, or related field
• Experience with SAP HR Master Data
• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to manage tasks in high-pressure situations
