Act as a Senior Human Resources advisor for a major oil and gas client in Calgary, providing strategic HR support and improving employee engagement on a 1-year contract.
This role supports a client group of around 130 employees, focusing on compliance, employee relations, and effective HR interventions. You will be a key partner, responsible for interpreting HR policies and navigating complex labor relations issues while driving operational excellence. This position encourages a collaborative and inclusive workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute HR strategies that align with business objectives
• Manage and resolve employee relations issues proactively
• Conduct internal investigations and provide guidance
• Analyze HR data to pinpoint improvement opportunities
• Mentor junior HR staff as needed
Requirements:
• Extensive experience in HR at a Generalist level
• Knowledge of employment laws and policy implications
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Capability to handle confidential information
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
