As an HR Manager reporting to the VP of People and Culture, you will lead a skilled HR team and collaborate closely with business leaders to ensure effective HR practices. Your responsibilities will encompass employee lifecycle management, operational insights, and maintaining compliance with Alberta Employment Standards. By fostering a respectful work environment, you will play a pivotal role in team performance and organizational success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and develop HR team performance
• Support leaders with employee relations and development
• Ensure adherence to HR compliance and policies
• Oversee the employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding
• Monitor HR metrics and payroll processing
Requirements:
• HR diploma or degree required
• 8–12 years of relevant HR experience
• Desirable CPHR designation or in pursuit
• Comprehensive knowledge of HR practices in Alberta
• Proven experience mentoring HR professionals
Lead HR strategy and operational success at Startec in Calgary.
