West Jet invites you to learn and grow as a Talent Acquisition student in Calgary, AB, with in-person collaboration five days a week. This role spans 12 months, offering real-world recruitment experience.
This position allows you to collaborate with a mentor and the Talent Acquisition team, engaging in recruitment events, market research, and competitive practices. You will analyze recruiting data to provide valuable recommendations and continually improve Talent Acquisition efforts. If you are a motivated individual with a desire to learn, this role is ideal for you.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate logistics for hiring campaigns and events
• Develop targeted hiring strategies based on talent segmentation
• Research and suggest innovative recruitment practices
• Partner with talent leads to improve programs
• Assist with general Talent Acquisition support as necessary
Requirements:
• Enrolled in a degree or diploma in HR or related field
• Exceptional time management and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite applications
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• High attention to detail and commitment to service
