ROSEN is looking for a Senior P&C Partner that will be based in Calgary, Alberta. This position reports directly to the Workgroup Lead, People Partnerships and will be a part of the People & Culture team.
What will I be doing?- Business Acumen & Strategic Alignment
- Understand the business model, industry, and operational priorities.
- Align HR strategies with business objectives and KPIs.
- Anticipate workforce needs based on business growth, market trends, and operational goals.
- Proactive Workforce Planning & Talent Management
- Develop workforce plans that align with business priorities and future needs in partnership with leaders.
- Partner with leaders to identify critical roles and succession plans.
- Leverage data to drive talent decisions, ensuring the right people are in the right roles at the right time.
- Driving Organizational Effectiveness & Change Management
- Contribute to organizational design discussions to ensure structure supports business strategy.
- Act as a trusted advisor during organization changes and transformations.
- Support change management strategies that drive employee adoption and minimize disruption.
- Data-Driven Decision-Making
- Use People analytics to provide insights on turnover, engagement, and productivity.
- Translate people metrics into business impact and actionable recommendations.
- Support implementation of tools for tracking and improving People performance and workforce trends.
- Building Leadership & Culture
- Coach business leaders on leadership development, team dynamics, and performance.
- Champion an inclusive and high‑performance culture that aligns with company values.
- Drive employee engagement and retention strategies through meaningful initiatives.
- Process Improvement & HR Innovation
- Identify opportunities to automate, streamline, and optimize People processes.
- Partner with People CoEs to implement best practices.
- Leverage technology (e.g., SAP, Success Factors, AI, HR analytics tools) to improve efficiency and employee experience.
- Risk Mitigation & Compliance
- Ensure HR policies and practices are legally compliant and aligned with business ethics.
- Identify risks related to employee relations, regulatory changes, and HR policies.
- Proactively address workplace issues before they arise.
- Trusted Advisor & Relationship Builder
- Serve as a thought leader and sounding board for business leaders.
- Balance employee advocacy with business needs.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
- Minimum 8+ years of progressive HR experience including HR Advisory, Business Partnering, People/Talent Strategy Development, Workforce Planning, Employee Relations, and Program Execution.
- CPHR/SHRM designation or equivalent an asset.
