Human Resources Specialist

Join SUMMIT, An Earth Services Company, as a Human Resources Specialist in Calgary, AB. This full-time role focuses on full cycle recruitment and employee relations within our Corporate Services Division.

As an HR Specialist reporting to the HR Manager, you’ll support recruitment processes including job postings, candidate sourcing, and onboarding new hires effectively. Your expertise in payroll and HRIS will be invaluable as you maintain employee records and assist in performance management initiatives that aim for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support full cycle recruitment processes including sourcing and screening

• Build strong candidate relationships during interview selection

• Onboard new employees and enhance the onboarding experience

• Assist with payroll oversight and benefits management

• Respond to HR-related inquiries from employees and departments

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience required

• 2 years of payroll experience preferred

• Strong communication skills for effective engagement

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems

• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
