Job Description :
Reporting to our Director, Total Rewards within Human Resources, the HR Advisor‘s primary responsibilities are to coordinate, execute and troubleshoot processes and activities related to employee life cycle events, developing and delivering reporting and data analytics for HR, coordinating and supporting ongoing process improvements, testing and maintaining functionality in HR-related systems. The HR Advisor is a key interface for HR with internal business partners to ensure effective ongoing HR operations, data accuracy and security.
Key functional responsibilities include:
ISMS Information Custodian:
- Develop in-depth understanding of process and evidence requirements as well as context for historical decisions and issues
- Collect and provide current and relevant evidence to support ISMS and CIP audit requirements (HR, Security and Finance as requested)
- Identification, recommendation, and implementation of ongoing HR process improvements to ensure regulatory compliance and continuous improvement
- Independently address internal and external audit queries and lead interviews for detailed HR processes
- Provide expertise and support to the Business and ensure alignment of positions with the Business plan, General Tariff Application (GTA) and HRIS system.
- Consult independently with business partners, provide recommendations, and implement decisions for position management administration and track improvements
- Provide data and analysis to leaders and HR business partners for GTA and 10-year Business Planning processes, flag anomalies/issues and ensure effective resolution with GTA leads in Human Resources, Corporate Services, Finance/Operations
- Maintain accuracy and alignment of headcount, span of control, organization charts, GTA, reporting and recruiting
- Ensure organizational structure is translated into appropriate SAP organizational design, and coordinate activities related to reorganization work including position creation, report generation, and analysis
- Manage complexity, SAP data/setup, and history.
- Ensure the impact of changes in processes or exceptions are aligned with business needs, appropriate and manageable within the system
- Monitor ongoing process effectiveness, identify, and implement process improvements as they emerge within scope of responsibility (e.g. workflow, termination process, recruitment, pulse surveys)
- Ongoing documentation of business processes for the purpose of improvement (e.g. pulse survey and Learning Management System (LMS) administration)
